The finished picture based on my sprite series on Newgrounds.
In the end, I used the Mario and Luigi Superstar saga colouring style for the Mario bros, while I used the Sonic riders style for Sonic and Shadow. (Thanks to
for the tutorial). 
Master Mecha Sonic was just coloured in my style.
