The finished picture of my new character, Malice.
She is in many respects, Sonia's evil twin and there is a little bit of a story leading to her creation. But it ties in with Sonia's story.
Back in Sonia's younger days, she was a warrior princess in her own homeworld. Training rigorously and slaying demons on a regular basis with her older brother, Alex in hopes of one day avenging the death of their parents at the hands of the demon king, Dochuki.
One day, Sonia was captured by the demon forces and was tortured in the dungeons of the Black tower deep in the heart of the demon world until she was rescued several months later by her brother.
The experience had left her very weak and traumatised, she was no longer the strong young vixen she used to be and no longer desired to fight.
Despite her brother's many failed attempts at trying to rekindle her warrior spirit, Sonia and Alex went their seperate ways, starting new lives in the human world. Alex met with Heaven and started a family while Sonia fell into depression. Becoming a stripper and having many failed relationships.
Many centuries later, Sonia met a lone adventurer by the name of Alex Betts (not to be confused with her brother, Alex). Taking her on many different adventures and eventually, falling in love. This started to rekindle her old warrior spirit, but conflicted with the dark emotions that had emerged during her traumatic experience in the Black Tower.
These conflicting emotions then turned her into a rampaging demonic beast, leaving Alex Betts with the task of delving into her subconcious mind. What he found inside pulling the strings, was Malice with a weakened Sonia bound in chains behind her.
Malice had full control of Sonia's mind and could do whatever she desired. Constantly impeding Alex Betts as he struggled to get through to his girlfriend. Eventually, their deep bond with each other allowed Sonia to reclaim what was rightfully hers and knocked Malice down in one move.
However, despite the inner torture that Malice had put her through, she couldn't destroy a part of herself. Instead, she released Malice from the inner confines of her subconcious and manifested her into a physical being in the real world.
Since then, Malice has been forced to live with Sonia (Who has now regained her warrior spirit and original personality) and Alex Betts who keep constant watch on her to make sure she doesn't cause trouble. But her rebellious attitude make her a hard nut to crack.

This story and Malice were created for a more personal reason however.
Many people may know that Sonia was my first ever female character who I created alongside her brother. Back in the early days of drawing her, she was a warrior princess who was brave and skilled in battle, yet innocently shy around those she had intimate feelings for.
After I joined DA 3 years ago, I started to break away from the original concept of her character and depicted her in many flirty and nude artwork. Naturally being my favorite female character, I was unhappy with how I had developed her character.
So, that's why I created Malice. Allowing Sonia to return to her original personality while Malice does all the flirty and raunchy stuff. So expect a lot of naughty artwork of this bad girl when I get around to it.
